There are a lot of families homeless in the City of Detroit. 34,642 people are homeless, including children and adults. Although there are shelters and donations, they do not help all the time. There are so many people becoming homeless as we speak.I came up with solutions to hopefully stop a majority of it. They need more places for them to stay warm and sleep in. Also they should go find jobs to have a little money to buy clothes to wear and food to eat. Let me go more into details about the pros and cons with the two solutions I have. Majority of homeless people die from the weather and starvation. The kids and adults will have a better chance of living. The bad that may come out of it is that it will be crowded in the shelters because the number of homeless people in the City of Detroit. Also would not be enough food for everyone, food would become scarce. Now on to the second solution, they can find jobs. Thirteen percent of homeless people in Detroit are veterans, when they got out of the military they had no home to go to or career/job. They can also do a farming program, so their resources will not become scarce. The parents need to take care of their child or children by getting a job to provide for both of their needs. If the government could help guide the homeless to find a job, mostly everything would be solved. The good for the second situation is that they can make money to buy what need to survive. They can save up while living in a shelter and they can become stable to get transportation to work and etc. The bad for the situation is that some of the homeless will not get hired. They will still be at the shelter looking for some food or clothing. There are some disadvantages and advantages to every solution, you just have to take
