In this world we have to be cautious about what we do and what decisions we make because life is a precious thing and we don't want to risk it by drinking alcohol which does no good to us. The drinking age should not be lowered or in other words it should stay the same. It prevents young people from getting into the drinking habit. The drinking age should stay the same because if we lower it, it will be easier for younger teens to obtain alcohol and the younger you drink, the more likely you will be an alcoholic in the future. One reason why the drinking age should stay the same is because it will be easier for younger teens to obtain alcohol if we lower it. According to the 60 minute video “Drinking Debate,” Chuck Hurley stated that Lowering the age will resolve in even younger people drinking. 18 year olds will buy alcohol for 15 year olds.” This research proves that lowering the drinking age will become a problem with teens and their future.
