Pro: The results of the process in which the Mongols built their empire, was justified through the advancements of society and civilizations.

Many terms are being thrown around without thought as to what they really mean. What do we expect to find in a “civilized” society? Well..

1. having an advanced or humane culture, society, etc.
2. easy to manage or control; well organized or ordered.

While barbaric on the other hand.

Barbaric adjective 1. un civil-ized; wild; savage; crude.

Sounds like the mongol empire ,Advanced culture, refined, easy to manage.

Although these are, clearly, very sophisticated terms, we have a more “human-like” terms we all have in mind, well I know that the peoples dictionary is the urban dictionary. …show more content…

Despite the fact the Mongols frequently used torture and inhumane battle tactics during war, these definitions shows that the mongols were civilized in the times that they were not in war. If people surrendered or were subdued without resistance the mongols exacted tribute, such as taxes or men for war, but generally left the inhabitants alone because their had more joy to spread. (Chapter 14-15 in world history textbook in the library.) To sum it up the mongols were generally peaceful and prosperous but just like any conquest they had to killed a few to get there such as the roman rule or the Han Dynasty

Their economic system was highly specialized and their customs called for religious tolerance, hospitality,their trade policies balanced technological innovation, and limited alcohol use. The Mongols used highly sophisticated economic system, backed by laws that promoted safety and security, allowed the people of their empire not only to survive but to thrive and prosper. after their fall the gave to society yams and the silk road opened to everybody to use. Although the mongols were often brutal, they were tolerant of religious differences and encouraged
