Pros or cons? I believe that outweighs the pros because there is more danger we are being put in by having all this new technology and not knowing how to use it then there are pros. NASA Earth Observatory states that anyone can get pictures from satellites, people think they know everything going on, and conversation issues. Firstly, I believe that the cons outweigh the pros in the sense that anyone can get satellite images online. NASA Earth Observatory states “ in the mid 1980s, I would have given my eye-teeth to get satellite images of Madagascar.” Assuming that back then it was so hard and so much money to receive an image that these images aren’t as important as they used to be. Additionally, people can now download “MODIS” for free satellite images. NASA Earth Observatory is proving that anyone and everyone can look at what is happening from the sky. I think that it’s not for everyone to see what is going on in this world. As well as free satellite images people also think it's easy to identify what's truly going on. …show more content…

NASA Earth Observatory shows “...people can be native and think it's an eye in the sky, and we can zoom in and see all the elephants and count them.” Taking this from the text the reader can infer that technology improvements have happened but they are trying to educate people about the new technology, “we don’t want to oversell this thing.” Moreover, this proves that the cons outweigh the pros because people don’t understand how to read or how things are read from satellite images.
