Culture can be perceived in an optimist or pessimist manner. People that experience savage confinement and suffering in their country because of their culture would think that culture is a curse. Whilst, people who experienced civilized, refined and freedom in their culture would say that culture is power. What idea does this give us? In my perspective, culture may be regarded as a curse or a blessing, there is beauty amidst diversity. Culture is defined as shared beliefs, values, and practices (REF). Therefore, People have to embrace the diversity that culture brings in order to find its inner strength in treasuring the core values of humanity. They are 1. iPhones, people would regard you as someone who’s rich if your mobile phone is not just a phone but its iPhone. 2 Hover board, people would look at you like you’re a celebrity if you have or use hover board. 3. Black card, people would raise their attention with you is you’ve got a black card. 4. Condominium, people would think you are well-off if you live in a condominium. Although it is normal in western countries to live in a condominium, but in my country setting, due to the level of poverty, it is grand and luxurious. 5. DSRL, people would assume that you are a professional photographer if you have and use one of these cameras. 6. High-end bars, people would think you’re cool if you party in high-end bars unlike of those mediocre bars. 7. University abroad, people would assume that you are intelligent and well-off if you have studied abroad. 8. Branded wardrobes, people would say that you are wealthy if you are wearing designer and expensive clothes. 9. Rolex watch, people would think you value time more than your life if you own one. 10. Starbucks coffee, people would assume that you do not drink other coffee brands if you always carry a cup of Starbucks with you. But in reality, you just wanted to show-off to other people. Let me make this clear that all of these ten objects that I have mentioned are limited in my country and cultural setting only. As a result, it should not be generalized to every
