This video and the ramifications of the actions of the sheriff in killing an unarmed teen seems to be more of a misuse of power rather than to protect and serve. For an eight year veteran of the sheriff’s department, I do not know how this went so wrong, and that this sheriff allowed it to become more than a traffic stop. As you read into the web pages as it details in the investigation they want you to believe this teen had it coming and the sheriff was completely afraid for his life when he shot the teenager seven times. It seems the sheriff was using excessive force and deadly force where it was not needed. The sheriff allowed the teenager to continually disrupt him and then the sheriff seemed to be agitated and this escalated his anger.
