The three presidential debates that we will see, between Donald Trump and Secretary Hilary Clinton, will probably be unlike anything that we are used to, simply because American voters have never seen a candidate such as Donald Trump. The battles between him and Hilary Clinton will be very dramatic and intense if the previous debates are a precursor to what is to come. We see that while Hilary Clinton is taking a more professional approach to the presidential debates, Donald Trump is clearly taking it lightly, more of a television show in which he is calling all of the shots. It would be believed that his lackluster performances in the debates would affect his outcome in the polls, but the truth is that doing well or poorly in the debates rarely has a significant impact on the outcome of an election. Experts had believed that the political parties were solely responsible for choosing their candidate but as we see, in this election it seems as if it is the other way and that Donald Trump had chosen the republicans. It would be believed that Hilary Clinton should be dominating in the polls due to her political experience and Donald Trump's lack thereof, as well as his erratic behavior, but this isn't the case necessarily. The gap between them has narrowed considerably after the conventions as well as the debates, even though she still leads in the polls in the swing states such as Ohio and Pennsylvania, as well as the national polls.
