Boston 1777 during the revolutionary war there was three sides the patriots,loyalists, and the neutrals. If I was in 1777 during the war I would have been on the patriots side. The colonies wanted independence and free from British rule. In order to gain their independence the colonies had to fight for it.

William always enjoyed helping his father with experiments of conduction of electricity. William was a very intelligent men, at the age of 21 he earned a master 's degree. The thirteen colonies fought to become independent from Great Britain and the result was the birth of our nation the United States of America. After the French and Indian War the British Parliament try to find a way to restore its treasury to how it was before the war. The Parliament decided that the colonies should take part of the responsibility in paying war debts. Parliament decided to enact a series of tax measures throughout the next ten years which angered the colonies.
The United States won its independence for Great Britain during the Revolutionary War. America struggled to get the advantage, but eventually was able to win the war. In the beginning it proved difficult to even acquire the troops necessary to fight a war. The troops they got had no adeptness for fighting. They struggled throughout the war and at times their chances for success looked bleak.
Colonies fought and won a war against Britain to declare their independence. In the eighteenth century, being an American meant having a government that changes and evolves over time. It meant having ideas that change over time for the benefit of the people. While some of their ideas were terrible, they did help shape both Americans and America to what it is today. To be an American means to have the same rights as everyone regardless of who you are, the freedom to practice whatever you want, and obligation to try to make this as great of a country it could be.

The devastating war was brutally bloody for both the Colonists and the British. The American Colonists were able to defeat the militarily stronger British by utilizing the hatred between the British and the French, having a stronger general, and using their knowledge of their homeland to fight against the British. First of all, the colonists were smart enough to use the animosity between the British and French for their own benefit.
