What I have learned from my decisions and rationale from the solutions that I implemented in round four, five, & six is that one major decision can change a positive or negative course of your company in a matter of a year. As a result of my decision, the company faced financial hardship in year four but demonstrated its defiance against economic crisis in years five and six by making smart and concise choices to improve the business margins on most levels. In year four the company struggled immensely due to the product positioning in the market and forecasting issue which led to excessive inventories the outstrip the company cash flows, negative ROS ( -3.2%), ROA (-2.4), ROE (.3.7) and a negative profits ($1,214,319). I agree. In some cases, knowing that you have a mutation and will be affected with the disease could be very emotional for an individual. One never knows how they will respond to the result and pretesting counseling may not fully prepare the individual for the result. One question that has been raised is should genetic counseling be allowed for diseases that are not treatable? It is thought that if an individual knows they will develop a condition that has no treatment it could cause psychological harm, stigmatization, and possible discrimination.
Christmas is not a happy time for everyone. Some individuals actually find that their mood suffers during the festive period as a result of the cold weather, a lack of family and friends or the winter depression seasonal affective disorder (SAD). We had to organize health immunization cards that has not been organized for a while. While organizing the health immunization cards, we noticed that the health immunization cards that were in the filing cabinets were mostly students that transitioned to Middle School or have transferred to another schools. It was very disorganized.
As a student, I struggle to afford the cost of healthcare, and it often becomes a burden for me. Through the lens of sociological imagination, I can understand this issue differently. According to Mills, personal troubles are problems individuals face in their immediate social setting, public issues are societal problems that affect many people. The high cost of healthcare can be viewed as a personal trouble when it

Social problems also known as social issues, are undesirable situations or conditions found within our societies. Health Care in the US is arguably available to all who seek it but not everybody has had the same experience and treatment when walking through the doors of a healthcare facility. In many cases, people are discriminated against due to their gender, race/ethnicity, age, and income and are often provided with minimal service. Differences between groups in health coverage, access to care, and quality of care is majorly affected through these disparities. A social problem is an aspect of life that people are concerned about and would like to change. It consists of two components: the objective requirement that an aspect of society can be measured. . The objective condition in the case of abortion entails the question whether abortions are legal, who obtains an abortion, and under what circumstances is an abortion secured (Henslin, 2008). For both the uninsured group and those who are eligible for government assistance because of their low economic position, access to health is limited by the number of private providers willing to treat them. In many cases private providers are linked to particular private health insurance companies and won 't accept patients outside their network. These people must then rely on the overburdened public health system for care, and as such usually only seek treatment in emergencies. The inequality in health care access is a continuing issue in America and as such it is important for future consumers and workers on the Foothill College campus to have a thorough understanding of the issue so they can move to improve the problem in the
I strongly value my health and believe that health is our greatest form of wealth. When one lives a healthy lifestyle, it means more opportunities to explore the world, build families, achieving anything the heart desires and conquering personal goals. The behavior change philosophy fits my personal philosophy of health education the most because it involves goal setting, behavioral contracts and self-monitoring to help foster the modification of an unhealthy habit. The behavior change philosophy is very important because change is a process, not an event. Self-efficacy and motivation are key factors in successful behavior changes.
Social Problems in Societies Social problems are issues which are considered to affect majority if not all members of a society either directly or indirectly. Whenever people come to live together in a social setting, conflict arises from their differences in opinions regarding political issues, religion, ethnic issues, cultural practices and other health and hygiene issues. In such a situation, we can say a society inevitably develops social problems. The various social issues present today vary from society to society, and as such, we cannot say that all societies face similar social issues.
