Based on the definition of Bullshit provided by Harry G. Frankfurt in the article On Bullshit () and the additional definition provided about creativity psychopaths are the gods of bullshit because they are highly intelligent, creative, can believe they are superior to others, are fearless, and lack emotion. The gods of bullshit are the psychopaths who share traits with narcissists and Machiavellians which means that the charismatic and remorseless con man would be the best at creating bullshit.

In the article Lies that fail P and M (ethics), the authors present the concept of detection clues and leakage as a means, to detect a lie. These same principles for detection could be applied to someone who is known to bullshit. Bullshit is not as socially objectionable to society but if someone uses bullshit too much no one will ever believe them again. Therefore, those that are new to bullshit will be nervous about getting caught because they lack the ability necessary to apply their art and those that are seasoned veterans of bullshit will be nervous because they would wonder how many more times they can get away with it and get caught without losing the people they rely on. Someone who is creative and able to think on the fly. Ultimately someone who is a charismatic con man because the main root of bullshit is a willingness to believe the fakery being presented and who is better at convincing their audience than the con man. So why is a normal con man not the god of bullshit. Well a normal con man will have some sort of detection clue that will show the bullshit. Psychopaths have no detection clues as they feel no empathy towards others and may even take some sort of satisfaction from bullshit.
