Our freedom is protected by the soldiers who go to war every day and risk their lives for us to live every day and to do what we want.PTSD is a tragic illness that makes people who have seen things in their life that has scared them live a very difficult life. PTSD is a long-term illness but can be minimized if you get the right treatment.
The Odyssey is a story about Odysseus, a man, who goes on a journey and has trouble getting to troy and back home. The Odyssey shows how the veteran, Odysseus, that went to troy was treated in Greece and how when he came back, he was betrayed by his own people and had had his stuff taken from him but he was also a hero. Odysseus was still in combat mode when he came back from the war and was considered a hero. Odysseus had been rushed, “rush him where he stands” when he had gone to kill the suitors, but he had “ aimed and shot, and every shot brought down one of his huddling enemies”(Homer page 611-612).
