What is a Public Service Announcement? A Public Service Announcement is an advertisement that is free of charge through media to disseminate messages to the public, with the purpose of informing or making people aware about a social issue and changing their attitudes and behavior towards it. Before and during the Second World War years, the first public service announcements were made in both UK and US. This became a helpful instrument for the nonprofit organization to make use of in spreading their message to the public. Advocacy is a method of supporting and allowing people to say their views and concerns just like what we are asked to do. This is a very important message to all children now that technology is everywhere and people use it most of the time rather than to talk with their parents, help do house chores and eats with family. Mothers are one of the most important people in the world whom you can’t live without. All of their sacrifices are already a proof of how much a mother loves her children. They would go extra mile just to give what you need or want. They are really the strongest people in the world for they can raise a child regardless of being a single parent. It’s taking care for a life that is totally reliant for a survival. It’s providing air to the lungs and sight to the eyes. This is all about the sleepless night, being strict and protective. Teaching them to walk, speak and run. It is bracing them when they are to fall and helping them stand after they fall. It is witnessing you cry that terrify them and all they do is to sit on the floor, hug you and cry with you. It is building your confidence and supporting you with your dreams. It’s a love that grows continually, a love that always needs more and better. It is being mad and teaching some lessons that hurt within and the only thing left is to cry, but should still stay strong. It is being strong when they are weak. It is when you already want to cry but you need to smile. It is staring at the pictures and feeling all the love and gladness when you see the beauty in those smiles. It is cuddling on a couch, watching a movie or braiding her hair. It is waking up early every day. It is having a bad day and having them embrace you and say “mommy I love you”, and wanting nothing more. It is a relationship that never stops and a love that never expires. Unfortunately, this is slowly being destroyed by today’s modern generation where chances become fewer and time becomes wasted. And the only choice left is to regret. So would you still ignore your mother? Or start appreciating her in all that she does for you and your
