In the article of “Students who use digital devices in class ‘perform worse in exams’, I can relate to because it talks about the causes of having a laptop or tablet in class and how it effects your grade. When I was in middle school everyone had laptops and every time the teacher would lecture us we wouldn’t pay attention everyone would be on Facebook, YouTube, etc. Then, the time when the quizzes and tests came up we would do poorly and we had no one to blame but ourselves. After that, when I went into high school we didn’t use any laptops, so I started to focus more when the teacher would lecture us. Then I started to see improvements on my tests so that’s when I started to realize that I work better when I don’t use any electronics during class. …show more content…
I find that true because to me writing by hand helps me memorize what I wrote down more. I guess the fact that writing stuff by hand makes you memorize the stuff longer. When I do write my notes in laptop I tend to do write down the stuff fast so I don’t really memorize them. But, then again that is a good perk of writing stuff on your laptop. Like when your teacher asks you to take notes and you have little time typing your notes is faster. Writing by hand is just a better way to help me memorize
