We live in a society where race determines how, where and why we live our daily lives the certain way we do. The ideology behind racism is a belief system that a certain race is superior then other race in terms of characteristics, abilities and appearance. Where did this ideology come from? This belief system ideology of racism was created by elite white supremacists to hold the inferior minorities/blacks group in check and rule them in whichever way they see fit to. An example of this would be slavery, the holocaust Etc... Racism is reproduced through time and spread through space. And black female students are always the ones to first come out and share their opinions. Black females are for certain to experience more racism and gentrification. Even the women’s right movement was only for white middle class women. The movement didn’t include black women. Today it seems that women got what they fought for but not really, we still expect women to do “women work” and men do “men work.” There will never be a time where everything will be equal for men and women. Because men with their ego won’t let that happen, and women always trying to be equal to men. Brings up the question from reading when Martha Minow argues “Why do so many public and scholarly discussions of cultural conflict focus on women?” well it is because women started it all. They are the ones to give birth to life. In most cultures women do house work and men go out to find food to put on the table. Even in today society where we have gay marriage accepted in most community and some culture, we always seem to ask who is the men in the relationship? We accept the gay marriage but we don’t let go of the social trend that there is always a men and a woman in a marriage. It’s something we still trying to adapt to the change. At my internship there mostly male attorneys, and on female attorney, and a Hispanic female law school student who is also interim there. There is not a specific role for both men and women, it goes by experience, and the level of their education. I dont now if humans will see each other as equal and not say "whos the men in the relationship" or" judge someone by the color of their skin" but it will take a long long time for us to see each other as
