Followers of the Sunni Islam religion were entitled to interpret the texts of the Quran, however they saw fit. But, this would result in many conflicts in the Pakistani community because certain people felt compelled to convince other Muslims to accept one specific interpretation of the Quran. Out of hope for a strong leader; the people were easily persuaded by others; at a time when elected officials were not dependable and they could only look to their own for change. There will always be opposition in any situation; however, Malala believed that Allah would not take away the natural rights of the citizens and she knew that Allah stood by her on that. This would cause a great conflict in Pakistan and Swat Valley, since the Radio Mullah abused his power and began to terrorize innocent people. Malala’s resilience was due to Allah because he was a figure of protection and support to her; which caused Malala to want to be that for others. To help and return peace to Swat Valley, Malala was convinced that it was her duty to carry out this mission without failure. There was much at large when Malala began to become a glorified hero in the world. However, this did not stop her because she knew Allah would protect her and to stop her campaign was not an option.
