Team is termed as a group of people having common objective with a positive synergy to fulfill the goal. A good team building is an important task for the success and growth of an organization. Team effectiveness to the extent to which the team achieves its objectives, achieves the needs and objectives of its members, and sustains itself over time. Team preferences are more in the team objective than the personal objective. (Hersey, P., Blanchard, K. H., & Johnson, E. D. ,2006).

But in this time his attitude and leadership style has some complains. He exaggerates and tries to bully staff. Since Elizabeth has years of experience and supports employee development. I would talk to her about Jim’s early leadership, so she can suggest me well in Jim’s matter in changing his behavior and motivating him.
Tracking New Team Opening a new store is a very difficult thing especially when the team is new. I am unknown about the behavior and the readiness level of the new employees. Just by looking the previous records is not enough for the better team building. So I would closely lookup after their performance and satisfaction level. According to their readiness level I would decide which leadership style I should approach. I would create an effective team so that the store can be well managed and succeed in the goal of the store.
Approaching Jim Working with a new team is a difficult task. Performing best and making others perform is different thing. The experience of Jim on doing the job is very good but he must be a flexible leader to cope with the new team members. So I would approach Jim in suggesting him to understand the team members

To manage the performance of the employee there are three steps. They are performance planning, coaching, and performance review. The importance of performance management is to create a framework in which performance of human resources can be refined, motivated, monitored, and directed. (Hersey, P., Blanchard, K. H., & Johnson, E. D. ,2006).
Analysis of the case
Axis Inc has instituted new “flexible” guidelines including piercings and tattoos. Rebecca Que, assistant Manager received a printed copy but she thinks those new standards were only for those in Denver and corporate office. She thinks that stores, style and personal branding are important to the Axis Inc and her store manager agrees.
