December 7,1941 the naval and air forces of Japan attacked the U.S, and drew them into World War 2. When attacking Pearl Harbor, Hiroshima and Nagasaki they killed 2,400 Americans and wounded 1,200. Japan lost 30 planes, 5 midget submarines, and fewer than 100 men.
