It was on December 7, 1941 when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbour and just 6 hours, for the battle-hardened troops of the Japanese 38th Division to attack the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong. The relentless battle had little awareness from the world as Europe was in the spotlight and the acts of heroism at this battle was also unnoticed. Sergeant-major John Osborn was the only soldier who was given a Victoria Cross for his bravery. However, his courageousness was not yet realized until the end of the war.
