Sarah died in Kiriath-arba and Abraham asked the Hittites for a place to bury her. He bought a cave from Ephron and buried her there. Abraham's servant went to find a wife for Isaac. He found Rebekah by a well and she goes back with him to marry Isaac. Abraham died and was buried with Sarah. Isaac and his wife Rebekah gave birth to two sons, Esau and Jacob. They grow up, and Esau was a fool; he sells his birthright to Jacob in exchange for a meal. Rebekah loved Jacob more and they trick Isaac into giving Jacob the firstborn blessing. Leah is jealous of Rachel since Jacob loves her, however since she is able to have tons of kids, she rubs it in Rachel’s face. Rachel is incredibly distraught since she is unable to have kids. She does not even eat and is incredibly pained. Finally God gives Rachel a son. God tells Jacob to go home, so Jacob leaves in secret and Rachel takes Laban's idols. Laban is incredibly angry and chased Jacob down, but they make a treaty after Laban can’t find the idols, even though they are there and are just hidden. Jacob heard that Esau was on the way to meet him and gets incredibly scared, so he sends tons of presents to please hims. That night he wrestled with a man (an angel of God), wins, and is then given a new name: Israel. Esau and his men arrive; Jacob is incredibly afraid and begs for his life, bowing down. But Esau had forgiven Jacob and hugs him instead; peace is finally restored amongst the family. Jacob and his family settle down with his family near Shechem.
