Getting a degree will change my life in many ways. Not only will it change professionally, but also personally. It will allow me to focus on a career that I can and will be proud of. It is also one of the first steps towards financial security, giving me more opportunities than ever before. Receiving my degree is the first step for success in life, and it will also allow me the ability to not get stuck at a dead-end job. My life growing up was a constant struggle with money, watching my mother work three jobs just to make ends meet. She had always pushed us to make better decisions so we could have a better future, making me realize at a young age that I wanted to provide a comfortable living for me and my family.
While being financially stable is a goal that I will have to strive for every day. There are many other goals that I have for my life that my degree will help me reach. I believe that I should always have a goal that I am working towards. Right now, it’s the beginning of my most important goal, my degree, it’s the main goal carving my path to success. Then it will be on to a career where I will work hard day after day.
All in all, getting my degree will be one of my most life changing accomplishments. Forming me into a person that not only I but my closest family and friends can be proud of. Paving a path towards a financially secured lifestyle, allowing me to do things that I thought I could only dream of. Also, allowing me to create more goals and helping me achieve all that I want to do, pushing me towards a better future.
