The sources that I read were about a brilliant man called David Bushnell who made the Turtle. His brother,Erza, is the one who actually the one who first tried use the Turtle. It also has that his nbrother although he failed his objective still succeded because they saw him as he fleed and then decided that it would be best to leave because next time they might actually suceed so they didn 't take any chances so they left. These sources are different perspectives of what happens.
They eat: plants, fruit, tree sap, small lizards,
“She put her hands where the child’s shoulders might be, under all that blanket, and pushed it gently back into the seat, trying to make it belong there. She looked at it for a long time. Then she closed the door and walked away” (Kingsolver pg. 25). Turtle has left her old life (not on her own of course) and has started a new life. She is now with Taylor, who has also started a rebirth.
Their front flippers help them steer, or sometimes crawl, through shallow water.’’ Even though it seems like Manatees have small eyes and no outer ear, manatees can see and hear very well. Manatees play an important role in the plant growth in shallow bays, rivers, estuaries, canals and coastal waters,
Sea otters diet is mostly small marine life. Otters eat slow-moving fish, crabs, abalone, sea urchins, clams, mussels, and snails. They can also eat 25% to 30% of their weight. A large male may eat as much as 25 lb. of food
It can be found living in desert, grassy, plains, forest, rocky hillside’s and an area along the coast. Diamondback snakes eat mice, rats, rabbits, gophers, birds, lizards and any other small animals. They have many predators and not always do they want to eat them. Animals such as deer, antelopes, cows, horses regard the diamondback as a threat. They may try to trample or stommped on the snake.
When fleeing from a predator, animals forfeit the ability to acquire additional resources and reduce their risk of predation (Frid & Dill, 2002). The avoidance of predation and the need to acquire resources to survive creates a tradeoff that animals must balance in order to survive. Flight initiation distance (FID) can be used to determine how animals perceive the risk of predation in their habitat (Stankowich & Blumstein, 2005). Although FID has been used to identify predatory risk assessments in birds, mammals and lizards, it has not yet been used to evaluate risk assessments in urban dwelling pond turtles. Red-eared sliders (Trachemys scripta) flee from a basking site into an aqueous environment when approached by a natural predator and forgo additional time basking in the sun.
At the bottom of Naple Island Gazette’s front page, I saw the headline: Manatee Habitat Threatened by Local Development. The article explained that a new housing development was planned for an area along the Okee River. Many of the properties would have docks in the river so owners could park their boats and have easy access out into the bay. I knew that the Okee River was the best place locally to spot manatees. They loved floating in the warm water and munching the thick sea grasses that cover the river bottom.

Dlnr Hawaii has written that “Mongooses are opportunistic feeders that will eat birds, small mammals, reptiles, insects, fruits, and plants. They prey on the eggs and hatchlings of native ground nesting birds and endangered sea turtles. The small Indian mongoose has been blamed with the extinction of ground-nesting birds in Jamaica and Fiji and commonly kill birds, including 8 federally listed endangered Hawaiian birds, such as the Hawaiian crow (‘alalā), petrels (ʻuʻau) and Hawaiian goose (nēnē). This research explains that mongooses feed on native animals and eggs of native animals. Mongooses have caused a large number of deaths of native Hawaiian Sea Turtles and made extinct many indigenous

In Ernest Hemingway’s novel The Old Man and the Sea, the author uses turtles as a symbol for Santiago and his tragedy. At the beginning of the novel, Santiago talks about turtles as beautiful creatures which highlights his emotional health and positive connection to nature at the start of his journey. As Santiago rows his boat far out of the harbor he spots a green turtle, “He loved green turtles and their hawk-bills with their elegance and speed” (Hemingway 36). Santiago’s description of the turtles’ elegance and speed is symbolic of his optimism and strength. Santiago is strong and ready to keep fishing until he catches something even though he 's gone 84 days without catching anything.

The red panda; a species somewhat sizeable than a domestic cat; is currently an endangered species. The red panda has a body type similar to one of a bear with fur that is thick with a rustic colour. Its diet consists predominantly of bamboo, about 95%; which is very atypical for a mammal.
For turtle lovers, Hawaii offers the opportunity to see green sea turtles in a sanctuary at the Punaluu Black Sand Beach. While this place offers a great view into the world of green sea turtles, it does have unpredictable waves and a bad riptide so swimming and snorkeling should be done with care. For people interested in water sports, Poipu Beach Park is a better choice - it has all kinds of surfing as well as swimming, snorkeling and
