The reason I decided to interview a hygienist is because dental hygiene is my major and the career path that I chose and I find the occupation interesting. A dental hygienist plays a key role in a dental practice the hygienist is responsible for making sure the teeth are clean before you see the dentist.

I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to be placed at your clinic as a student of Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant on the Rehab unit. I believe that the services you have to offer are incredibly unremarkable such acute care and specialized programs. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge about Trillium Health Care Hospital and what it has to offer. I am currently enrolled in semester two of the Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant program at Humber College. My previous work at Etobicoke General Hospital as a Co-op student has given me the opportunity to get the hands-on experience that they do not offer at school.
(Props to the patients that have used them) I believe I see myself working in this unit because of how fast paced the job is and working with others is a
Some people afraid of work and talk with the elderly people, but I am not kind of that problem. Ever since my sophomore year of high school, I knew the medical field was the right choice for me. It wasn’t just the ability to have vast amounts of knowledge about the human body, but to be able to help people. Helping those who need it is a very rewarding idea to me. Although the school I am currently attending is not able to allow me to help people as a nurse. My decision to transfer is based fully on this programs direct entry nursing program.

The hustle and bustle of a hospital has been a part of my life since I was little. My step-father was in and out of the hospital constantly with unknown illnesses which eventually took his life earlier this year. Since I could remember, I was in awe, watching doctors and nurses. I have always admired the hospital staff for all that they do and I have known for so long that the medical field was for me. Being a Physician's Assistant is a rewarding and difficult job, and I believe I have the drive and personality to succeed in this career.
I am interested in your New Graduate Nurse Residency Program. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston and recently obtained my MA RN license in August 2015. I choose to be an RN because I love learning about the anatomy and physiology of the human body and working with people. When I was a little girl, I would watch the Discovery Health channel instead of watching cartoons. In high school, I became interested in social justice work when I did a month long volunteer service trip to India.
My chosen degree program at Kaplan University is a bachelor’s in health science. I chose this degree program because I am an aspiring physician assistant(PA). I chose this field of study because I have always been inspired to provide service to my community. My mother was a police officer and my father worked as an EMT. I did not choose their specific fields; however, I chose something that I knew fit me.
Joalexis Nursing Professional Development Plan Introduction While attending high school I always wanted to work in the healthcare field. I 've learned while conducting these interviews that both indivuials have similar issues within the healthcare system. one of the biggest issues both interviewees faces was the cost of healthcare and health insurance coverage. One of the interviewees has a chronic illness, and at times has to decide if she wants to purchase her needed medication or to buy groceries for herself and her family. The other interviewee although employed, doesn 't have health insurance coverage because its too costly every month. it seems they 're both appreciative of the fact there is a somewhat healthcare system with health care providers and professionals available to them, but feels its only available if you have health insurance coverage.
Based on your experiences in practice, identify a vulnerable client/patient or group, reflect on what contributed to this individual's/group's vulnerability and discuss how this was addressed in practice. Studying vulnerability, three problematic issues recur throughout the literature. Firstly, it is an important concept for nursing students to understand as Daniel, (1998),explains, it is through vulnerability that nurses and patients engage. Vulnerability has implications for and effects on health, (Rogers, DATE).

1. INTRODUCTION T. S. Eliot (1943) once wrote, “We had the experience but missed the meaning”. We can have all the experiences in the world, but if we missed out on reflecting, how would we be able to find the meaning? In this reflection of an interview we were tasked to complete, I will be adopting Gibbs’ (1988) reflective cycle to help me in the describing, exploration of feelings, evaluating analysing, identifying implications, before concluding and writing the action plan. 2.
