The Christian worldview has been around for thousands of years and it is one of the biggest and fastest growing religions in the world. This worldview is based off the Bible, which many of its essentials are found in the gospels. The gospel includes books Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The gospels are the first four books of the New Testament in the Bible. Three of the books, Mathew, Mark, and John, were written from eyewitness accounts, however, Luke was written from a physician who conducted extensive research (CWV-101 Lecture 4, n.d). Each of these accounts were not based off of each other, but they all line up with each other and history. Many people have adopted this Christianity, yet, the worldview’s essential elements have stayed the same over the years. The gospel’s essentials include the explanation of what God is like, the purpose of humanity, the identity of Jesus, the solution through restoration, analysis of the worldview, and a reflection on living the religion out.

The Christian belief brings people together because God call all of his followers to love above all. Also, this belief gives life a purpose knowing humans are here to help with God’s plan and that there will be salvation from God’s free grace for those who believe (CWV-101 Lecture 5, n.d). However, there are some troubling things about Christianity. One troublesome topic is that God has never been seen and Christians are to have faith in Him and to believe without physically seeing. Additionally, many people do not believe in God because they see all the bad in the world and think that there could not possibly be a God.
