Though it seems like the semester began just a few weeks ago time has flown by fast. I must now look back through these past months and identify my changes as a writer. As time went on I had developed in the approach I was taking to the writing process. At the beginning, I would not put much thought into the word choice I would use or how my paper was organized. Although, now I carefully sweep through my mind searching for the best ways to phrase my point and organizing sentences to the best of my ability. Through the course, I have grown within many areas. I have become aware of the power a single word can have to a sentence. Knowing now that I must be careful in how my ideas are presented. I also have improved my documentation skills by activities like our research paper. My knowledge of the English subject has grown by activities like our comma rules worksheet, commonly confused words, and even noredink. One of those areas is that I write with many fragments in my sentences. I feel like I could have spent more time of my own going over our packets on fragments. Though when it comes to the future I will address this problem by practicing more on eliminating those fragments and using online sources to check my papers. Another problem area is with commas. I still struggle a bit with the proper places to put a comma or even a semicolon.
