The earliest examples of religious symbols are dated back to the period, when human began believe in afterlife. Because of lack of knowledge, people associated every phenomenon in their life with some invisible power. And to show their thrill of this might they created religious symbols. Since that time, religious symbols were used in all areas of people's life and became integral attributes of human civilization. However, the fact is that there were different signs in different parts of world. And as a result of globalization, that strenuously covers the globe since the Age of Discovery, cultures mixed, religions faced, occurred misunderstanding and even animosity towards unfamiliar habits and traditions. All that led to the idea of banning of such kind of attributes, like hijab or turban. Such thoughts served as precondition for elaborating of legislations related to this problem. This is a very strong position of democratic and tolerant society. Democracy itself is based on freedom, and freedom is based on defense of human rights. According to this stand, everyone can wear religious symbols wherever and whenever he or she wants. Then, it is considered, that any limitation of faith's expression is against the conviction that democracy advocates. For example, in the article written by Ruth, M.L. (June 05, 2014 "Woman Booted From Hair School For Wearing Religious Headwear?") about Dalisha Burnett, who was expelled from her school in USA because she refused to take off her hijab. Muslim girl claimed, that the administration of school prohibited her from attending the school. This case is an excellent example of explicit discrimination against people, wearing religious headwear. Children should not be denied education because of their religious identification.
