MORGANTOWN, W.Va.--A game that started as a pitcher 's duel turned ugly for the West Virginia University baseball team in the latter innings as Furman defeated the Mountaineers in in the series-opener on Friday evening at Monongalia County Ballpark. Junior Chad Donato (1-3) was cruising during the first fine innings before things got shaky in the sixth. Matt Towarnicky 's one-out base hit into right field started the six hit, five run barrage. With Donatello stacher as a son of a tradesman, he was able to be schooled at the home of a wealthy and influential Florentine family of bankers and art that are closely tied to the Medici family. Some of Donatello most famous works of statues are the bronze and marble David, Penitent Mary Magdalene, Saint George, and Equestrian Monument of Gattamelata. Donatello had a deep understanding of ornamentation and classic forms, that important knowledge would eventually change 15-century Italian art. Donatello is died on December 13, 1466 of natural causes.

Madonna del Magnificat was created by Botticelli in the early 1480s. It is said to be one of the most famous paintings of the Madonna during his time because of the five contemporary replicas which were created. The painting was covered with gold paint and if you see it in person the figures appear to be life size. The virgin which is slightly almost at the center of the painting is crowned by two angels and is depicted as the queen of heaven. Two wingless angels are crowning her.
