A little after noon on November 22, 1963 President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. A lot of opinions have been shared and compared. Within this paper I will explain my opinions on the assassination of J.F.K. It was very hard to develop an opinion about the assassination because there is very little factual evidence to support one individual being accused of the assassination. With some research I have come up with a few opinions of why I believe J.F.K was assassinated.
By the fall of 1963, President John F. Kennedy and his political advisers were preparing for the next presidential campaign. Although he had not physically announced his candidacy, it was clear that President Kennedy was going to run. He seemed confident about his chances for re-election. At the end of September the president travelled west giving speeches in nine different states in less than a week. I believe that it is hard to correctly pin point the absolute reason why he was assassinated considering the fact that the only suspect they had in the case of J.F.K was shot and killed. Lee Harvey Oswald was a pretty accurate suspect considering the fact that Oswald bought a gun just days before the assassination and had been to Russia. Lyndon B. Johnson benefitted from J.F.K’s assassination because he was sworn into office, shortly after the president died.
