Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience Justin Timberlake’s latest album, “The 20/20 Experience”, was released in 2013. This is the third record for Timberlake to put out following “Justified” in 2003 and “Futuresex/Lovesounds” in 2006. While his first two albums have a very similar sound, his newest has a very different quality to it that I personally am a fan of. Now I have always liked Justin Timberlake’s musical work ever since I was a little girl jamming out to NSYNC but, I also believe that over the years his music has greatly grown and it really shows in his newest work. Everyone should listen to this album because it is a top seller, it has a different sound, and it includes catchy songs that a great to dance to. The 20/20 Experience was a huge seller when it first came out in 2013. This could be due to the fact that he had not put any music out for seven years before this album but, I think that it was well worth the wait. Some top hits on the album include “Mirrors”, “Suit and Tie” and “Let the Groove Get In”. As a dancer and dance instructor, I love warming up or choreographing to songs that have a consistent flow with some contrast. Because the length of the songs on this album are longer, some think that they will lose interest half way through a single song. The Huffington post states, “In some ways, it almost plays like a musical sequel”. I tend to appreciate this style because I can relate to it with movement but, it seems like many other people are very appreciative of it artist or not. According to the Huffington Post, “The 10 tracks (which average seven minutes) weave into one another beautifully as his falsetto glides over each beat.
