Research Paper On Night By Elie Wiesel

309 Words2 Pages
In the novel, Night, by Elie Wiesel readers are taken through the incredibly tragic journey of Elie fighting for his life while in several concentration camps under Nazi control. Elie does a very good job at describing the fear and ignorance that everyone shared during this time. People thought that this was war and tragic things were going to happen, but they did not understand the severity. When people finally opened their eyes and understood it was too late to stand up, Hitler was too powerful. The perspective of a young teenage boy who had barely had a chance to live his life before it was taken away is humbling. To read about how he was forced to look into the eyes of a young victim dying a slow painful death is disheartening.
