My favorite constellation is Orion, because it is a very bright star in our solar system. I also like the shape of Orion, because it looks if it consists of several parts. You can see the star from the earth and it is located on the celestial equator. as I told, it is a very bright star, even one of the brightest in the sky. Orion is the 26th biggest constellation.
In the Greek mythology is Orion a hunter, he came from Thebe. Orion was the only person were Artemis fell in love with. Apollon the brother of Artemis, did no like the two together. so, Appolon send a giant scorpion after Orion, to kill Orion. But Orion fled and jumped into the sea. Apollon saw it, and said to his sister (not knowing it was Orion): 'do you see that man, there', 'That is a criminal who raped one of your nymphs! Bet you can not hit him?'. since that day was Calilus the man in the house. he lived together with his mother and his sister Calila. he and Calila ensured the food for the family. Calilus hunted on little animals like rabbits and Calila plucked berries. as every week Calila and Calilus were going to the forest to ensure the food, when Calilus was looking for rabbits, he heard the scream of Calila. when he came to Calila he saw an big Cheetah, he knew it was the same one who killed his father. Calilus grabbed his knife and was going to attack him, but the cheetah was too fast for Calilus. Calilus fell and the Cheetah came closer and closer, he could not escape, he did not knew what to do, but from that moment, he only remembered that very bright, blue light, the cheetah shocked and ran away.Callus knew it was his dad. Calilus and Calila saw the he light go up to the sky.And till today you can still see this light, it is called Orion, that means hunter, to the greatest hunter the world has
