On March 31, 1995, 20-year-old spanish popstar, Selena Quintanilla was shot and killed at a Days Inn near Corpus Cristi, Texas. Yolanda Saldivar was found guilty for the murder of Selena on October 23, 1995. Yolanda was selenas fan club and boutique manager, over the course of selenas career, they became best friends. Yolanda claimed that she was not guilty, stating that she was not meaning to kill her best friend, but that she was using the weapon as a threat to get selena not to leave her.

France started out with a terrible king that didn’t give the people many rights. In the end of the Revolution people gained some rights, but the people still had a king named Napoleon. There were many changes to France during the French Revolution, but the end result was similar to the beginning, regarding the leader of their country, this is why the French Revolution can not be truly called successful. In pre revolutionary France the people wanted a lot of things, but they mostly wanted the power, they also wanted more freedom in their lives, but the absolutist monarch didn’t give the people any rights.
The stage design gives the impression of the characters being in two separate rooms, the positioning of blocks and pillars helps again to demonstrate this. This intricate attention to detail enables the performance to be compared so similarly to the movie adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic, although the ‘big screen’ enables more room for a fast change in setting and shots, Rourke does a phenomenal job trying to create this illusion which works so brilliantly. The night before the wedding or you could refer to it as the ‘stag and hen do’ was an unexpected twist that the audience definitely did not see coming. Again, the revolving stage was used to represent the divide between the women and the men and to compensate for the lack of space that the stage could carry.
The productions of this play were successful through stage design, lighting crewing, and acting. Those three aspects made the quality of the play stand out to me, as an audience member. The production of the set design of the play was a good effort. The set design for the play staging aims for the sweet spot between feeding adult nostalgia and satisfying a new generation of children.

King Louis XIV faced many problems during his reign such as, religious struggles, financial problems, and economic weaknesses (Guided History). Although Louis XIV encountered many obstacles he still had great effects on France. Louis XIV was basically set up in an absolute monarchy by the time he became king. The kings before Louis XIV had created the idea of an absolute monarchy and pursued the idea leaving Louis XIV with total power.

An absolute monarch can be defined as a ruler who rules without any interference from the nobles, having complete, utter and unrestricted rule over his people. Louis XIV of France was a key model of an absolute monarch during the time seen as a man to whom there was no equal intellectually, militarily or physically. His absolute monarchy was one of the most successful during the Age of Absolution, having the longest rule of any monarch in Europe. The king's rule was extremely successful due to his control over both the nobility and his own people, the massive and powerful army that he embarked on creating for his nation as well as the revenue he attained through his taxation of his people and use of mercantilism. “The Play That Goes Wrong” required a very detailed strategic plan of the arranged props and set design that actors need to follow in their performance. I believe the performers did a marvelous job in following the detailed choreography of the show. One of the most memorable cast members was Nancy Zamit. She played Annie the stage manager, who took the spotlight when she was forced into playing Charles’ fiancée named Sandra because the original female lead got "knocked unconscious” in the middle of the play. As terribly shy as she was, Zamit intensified the enjoyment of the audience as her character was reading off lines from pages of the script very awkwardly and awfully in an unfitted red dress and wig.

The definition itself states that it is a form of dance that uses precise steps and light, graceful motions. This definition was in the minds of those who attended the Théâtre des Champs-Élysèes in May 1913, but rather they were greeted with the complete opposite. When Igor Stravinsky’s ballet Rite of Spring opened, the audience was greeted with swift, chaotic music that quickly became a whirlwind of sound. The music softened and the curtains opened to a primitive dance, causing mass hysteria throughout the theatre.
