Revolution is an event that changes the life and politics of a certain person. Revolution can be both insignificant and radical. American revolutionary war was one of the best examples of radical revolution. The revolutionary war affected to American society in terms of politically, economically, and socially. The war was motivated by high taxation, such as Stamps Act, that British offered to Colonial people and unequal treatment that Colonial people went through. The first time, tremendous number of them did not care about high taxation because they would not have definite way to avoid from it. They launched the protest, The Boston Massacre, in 1770 against British soldiers who occupied the town of Boston. The independence was ardent. It evident by Boston Tea Party, both Continental Congresses, and Virginia Resolve. Boston Tea party indicates that how much they castigate and humble Britain. Punishment of the Boston Tea party was closing the port of Boston and taking away self-government. However, colonist reactant was setting up a shadow government that took control of the province out of Boston. It also indicates that colonist altered their aspects of British and politics. They realized they desperately needed alteration. Radical members of the Continental Congress wanted to declare American independence from Britain, but they acknowledge that most of their constituents were not yet ready for it. Most colonists still hoped to remain within the British Empire, but without paying taxes to Parliament. In July, 1775,(as it mentioned above) after three months of bloodshed, Congress sent an Olive Branch Petition, which reaffirmed the colonists' allegiance to the king but not ot Parliament. Wood said "..no country in the Western world has ever undergone such massive changes in such a short period of time. The Revolution resembled the breaking of a dam, releasing thousands upon thousands of pent-up pressures." The radicalism of the American Revolution was so influential that even impact to the world. United States spread the idea of equality and generate the dignity of democracy. Within decades following the Declaration of Independence, the United States became the most egalitarian nation in the history of the world, and it remains so today, regardless of its great disparities of wealth. As it mentioned previous paragraph, American Revolution is the motivation of varied revolution around the world the reason is that it obtains idea of equality, which is the idea that had been capitulated for a long time. Although It took America to put painstaking efforts to acquire the goal, it resulted in effective idea and now the United States is the one of the strongest country in the world. After the revolution, they also set the government, Article of Confederation and the constitution. Constitution became the official governmental system in order to cover the weaknesses of Article Confederation. Furthermore, U.S. became one of the strongest nations in the world.
