Forty years ago, Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his “I Have a Dream” speech hoping for more equality on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. King spoke in front of 250,000 people of every race to spread awareness of racial injustice, to fight for equality for African Americans, and to push the civil rights movement forward.
