All hail Hitler, how many times have you heard people talking about all the things Hitler has done. To begin with, one could think how it was possible Hitler gained so much power from his people. Hitler begins his speech by reeling his people in by saying, “At a time when only deeds count and words are of little importance, it is not my intention to appear before you, the elected representatives of the German people, more often than absolutely necessary.” (Hitler p 1) Hitler’s speeches were always very well thought out and organized. In this speech Hitler started by reassuring his people that his intentions were pure and good desires, also convicting the enemy. In this speech Hitler uses logos, ethos and most importantly pathos. The use of logos in this speech is a lot noticeable yet still has purpose. Hitler intermingles the use of logos throughout his speech. He mixes the use of logos with pathos and ethos. Even though he was making some hard choices, his speeches allowed himself to be viewed positively from many people. Hitler will use his emotions that will facilitate to the logic of his speech. Hitler’s speeches are one of his main methods to keep his listeners reeled in to his beliefs. Hitler ends his speech with a very assuring line that says, “I can assure you that I look into the future with perfect tranquility and great confidence. The German Reich and its allies represent power, military, and economic and, above all, in moral respects, which is superior to any possible coalition in the world. The German armed forces will always do their part whenever it may be necessary. The confidence of the German people will always accompany their soldiers.” (Hitler p 88) Therefore, the use of logos, ethos, and pathos is very dominant in this
