We can choose to either abide by them or not abide them, giving us our freedom to select. However, we have laws that govern these freedoms, and if we do not abide by these rules, we will pay the penalty punishable by law. An example would be an innumerable amount of people from other countries tries to gain access into America. They all believe that they will have freedom when they arrive here or at least protect them from the horrible events in other countries. So many countries have chaos and no rights for individuals. However, to come into American, land of the free, paperwork must be filed and acceptance given. Who would not want our freedom?

First let's explain what rights are. Rights are an entitlement and what is allowed by someone in society as a U.S. citizen. These entitlements must be morally correct. The government cannot infringe upon our rights. However, using our rights must not hurt somebody else, which is where the laws come into play. People are not being responsible with their weapons, as they are using them to hurt others. The laws are becoming more strict as time continues.
