1. Shakespeare was truthful and accurate in the play Romeo and Juliet. During the time of the play, there was a bubonic plague. This plague was killing millions of people, destroying families, and causing there to be many fights amongst families of wealth. During the final Scene of the play Friar Lawrence caught the plague and he ended up not being able to transfer Romeo a message about the faked death of Juliet.

The idea of someone else being at fault for the actions of others is seen in the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. The story is about two teenagers who fall in love despite being in families that are feuding. Ultimately, after pursuing a forbidden love affair, both lovers end up taking their lives.
In the vast story of “Romeo and Juliet” ,who is to blame for the deaths of the two young lovers? In the city of Verona six peoples lives were lost because of their parents disagreement. The feud, Friar Laurence, or even Juliet’s parents could be the true cause of the tragedy, but by using the supporting evidence from the story, one can find out just how everything went down. The feud caused a mutual hatred among the two families, resulting in behavioral issues. Friar Laurence, could have diverted this dilemma, but he decided to disregard others and help Romeo and Juliet behind everyones back.
In Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”, six people died, three from each of the two families, who’s to blame because of their deaths? If the families would not have met, this would have never happened. Lady Capulet and Friar Lawrence also had a lot to deal the marriage of Romeo and Juliet. I believe they could be the people to blame because did these six deaths. They told Juliet many different things about her marriage and advice for her to live the best life.

The prologue states “ Two households, both alike in dignity, in fair Verona, where we lay our scene. From ancient grudge break to new mutiny…” (DQB Project, “Who’s to Blame?”, Document A) meaning the two houses has been fighting and against each other for possibly centuries. Romeo is a Montague and Juliet is a Capulet, but due to this grudge they cannot see each other nor love each other.
There is always a reason why people die. Others are more interested when that reason is because of someone else. The play of Romeo and Juliet is about 2 forbidden lovers that ultimately die from taking their own lives. Prince Escalus has to punish the person that led to their death, but doesn’t know who. While Friar Lawrence and Fate are partially to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, the families are most at fault.

Although some people can argue Romeo and Juliet 's relationship was based on love, I believe their relationship was solely based on lust, because of the outside pressures through social interactions between themselves and their families, their physical interactions and sexual drive toward one another and the speed of their relationship prove that Romeo and Juliet had pressures and thoughts that were not based on their love for each other, but were based on lust and their desire for sexual
The play Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare, is viewed as a tragedy which it was intended to be exactly that but also a love story. With this said, this play is a tragedy but definitely not a love story. Romeo and Juliet simply did not love one another for they had only known each other for less than a week, it is impossible for love to form in this short of time. Though, in this play Romeo and Juliet would swear up and down that their love for one another was so pure and true, that they were the ones for each other. There was no love in this relationship, but rather idiocy and lust and maybe even the want for love, but no actual love.
