Ronald Reagan used to be an actor, before he ever became president of the United States. In fact, he starred in 50 films, for some of the three decades of his life. So he must have had great experience talking in front of a camera or a crowd. But when it came to his inauguration address, that was a different viewpoint, that's when he really made a difference. He was precise, reasonable, and compassionate to the people during his speech. Ronald Reagan’s inauguration address was the greatest inauguration address out of all others.
To start off with, Ronald is precise in, about what he says during his speech. This quote clarifies why “ Well, if no one among us is capable of governing himself, then who among us has the capacity to govern someone else” (Reagan). For example, he stated that he wanted to improve the middle class, young and elderly alike, to strive without the economic upheavals during their hard labor. In addition, he said, “But as great as our tax burden is, it has not kept pace with public spending.” “We suffer from the longest and one of the worst sustained inflations in our national history. It distorts our economic decisions, penalizes thrift, and crushes the struggling young and the fixed-income elderly alike. It threatens to shatter the lives of millions of our people” (Reagan).
On the opposing side of this, some voters may say that Obama’s inauguration speech was better than Reagan’s. They may consider it to better because it more was uplifting and inspirational to the American people and those around the world than Reagan’s address.
