“13 Rules That Expire” by Karen S. Karp, Sarah B. Bush, and Barbara J. Dougherty, is a thought-provoking read because, for one thing, students do not actually know that these thirteen rules perish until someone notifies us. When I first read this article, it came to me as a bit of a shock. This is an article that all math teachers should read before teaching in a classroom. This article is about the rules that teachers use to teach math to younger students and how those rules will expire before they graduate from junior high school. Many teachers struggle with getting their students to understand math.

Sarah Willis Parton or better known as “Fanny Fern” in her columns in the New York Ledger was one of the highest paid columnist in her time. Parton’s writing style was quite controversial for women at the time and she experienced many criticisms from people around her, including many of her family members. Going against the social and gender norms of her time, Parton was able to use her column as an outlet to express her feelings towards the world around her. In her article A Law More Nice Than Just, Parton uses the characterization of both Mr. and Mrs. Fern to speak out about the men and women in 19th century society. By reaching into the events of her past and the hardships she endured, she was able to pave the way for feminists of her time
J.B Priestly wrote ‘An Inspector Calls’ in 1945, the last year of World War 2 but sets it in 1912 a time of inequality where upper and lower class was distinguished and treated differently within society and where a big gap existed among poor and rich people. The play introduces us to the theme of social inequality and social responsibility displaying the fact that trade unions were very weak, workers had few rights, wages were very low and many other injustices where made specially towards women; they were treated very differently then men and they were looked on as less important in society. Lighting is changed at the arrival of the Inspector "The lighting should be pink and intimate until the Inspector arrives, and then it should be brighter and harder" this displays a contrast between scenes and atmosphere. It also shows the change in mood; suggesting a cheerful environment and a very joyfully and delight mood, everybody feeling thrilled for Shelia 's engagement and celebrating united as a family. But it changes to "brighter and harder" at the arrival of the Inspector and
Compare the two different writing styles in which Habeeb and Sinclair has presented to us through their stories. In each their work has their own approach to the reader contribute the understanding of that time living with the harsh environment and the Great Depression. In my own knowledge of understanding, I feel “The Lamp at Noon” has introduced the story and the environment with including the readers been as first person point view. Which has us readers somewhat attached, and involved in the saturation. The complexes motions and feelings are created alone with the “Wind” in the reader’s mind, also the very important lessons was taught at the same time.

FREDERICK LAW OLMSTED AND CAMILLO SITTE: NOT AS DIFFERENT AS THEY FIRST APPEAR Harkening from different sides of the Atlantic, two influential urban planners worked to transform the blossoming urban environment of the nineteenth century, albeit with very different approaches. Born within just over twenty years of one and other, Olmsted in Hartford, Connecticut, and Sitte in Vienna, both men had careers encompassing fields well beyond urban planning. Not a planner by training, Olmsted delved into the world of planning when he and Calvert Vaux won the design competition for New York’s Central Park in 1858.

. After driving for around five hours south in the pitch-black dark Nevada desert, a dome of hazy gold suddenly emerges on the horizon. Introduction I and my colleagues have created a traffic light simulation circuit. There for, the circuit illustrates how traffic light is made and the reason of it, it is obvious that, there are a lot of types of traffic lights in the roads, like, traffic lights that are made for 4 streets, 3 streets and others. But the circuit that I and my colleagues decided to do is for only one-way traffic light. In my opinion, our project is pretty important because, traffic light will organize the road movement and won’t cause a lot of traffic on the roads. Method I and my colleague have been working to design the traffic simulation circuit.
