By understanding what is the most common reasons that individuals’ choice to leave “home” can be a great help for the Department of Family Services (DFS) and the police when they are involved with runaways and at risked youth.
4.2. Make the case that it is a question amenable to scientific inquiry, i.e., would it be eventually falsifiable
 By understanding the motive that had influenced the socioeconomic background, family structure, and perception of social support we would be able to understand why individuals who are adolescent in Las Vegas to run away from “home”, but furthermore we can understand what impact will be able to drive anyone into leaving there “home”.

 The elements that made me adopt my question and logic based on knowledge that I have about the world is that people run away for an underlining reason. Though past research on the topic of runaways have conflict which makes their lives in conformed society unbearable and unlivable for those individuals that they seek comfort of the unknown surroundings of the streets with the freedom of being their own person with conforming to the social norms of the culture that they reside …show more content…

 Have a unique perception of social support which helps them survive.
 Individuals within the society of runaways will most likely be non-communicative at first until building trust.
 All individuals might have some similar stories but most likely that there are some differences within the reason that they decide to run away and how they have been able to service on the streets for the amount of time that they have been there.
5. Implementation & operationalization
5.1. In general terms, how would you go about tackling your questions? Inductively or deductively? Explain!
 The most effective way in tackling this research question is by having a survey distributed among the streets in which homeless youth stay, among housing and homeless shelter which specialize in youth.
 Inductively because the observation is specific to runaway youth among the Las Vegas community which in turns gives a general conclusion on the finding which ultimately can be used to establish more resources for the Department of Family Services (DFS), the foster families, and families in
