Mary Surratt was an innocent woman who was accused of helping John Wilkes Booth with the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. She got hanged for it, but the person who actually did do something to help John Wilkes, Dr Mudd, didn’t get hanged, he got life in prison.
A succeeding profit of 50,000 dollars would be made if Mrs. Anne Van Bliven faked the burglary of her African blue diamond necklace. This valuable necklace was stolen from Mrs. Anne Van Bliven’s fourth floor room, labeled 409, on September 29, 1954. Mrs. Anne Van Bliven claimed she had just taken a warm, foamy bubble bath when she realized her balcony door was shattered and her necklace was nowhere to be found. She immediately called the police. When police approached the scene, they concluded that other than Mrs. Anne Van Bliven herself, there were two other suspects, Emmy Porter and Honore Elizabeth Schmit.
Mary McLeod Bethune was born on July 10 in 1875. Her parents were Patsy and Samuel McLeod. Mary was born the third youngest child out of her seventeen siblings and she was also the first born into freedom. Opportunities came for Mary that her older siblings may not have had and Mary didn’t pass them up. Mary graduated from Scotia Seminary in Concord, NC in 1894.
Mary Edwards Walker accomplished a variety of amusing and intelligent things during her lifetime. She first enrolled in the Syracuse College of Medicine. Although her father was the one encouraging these medical desires, Mary thrived in this specific school system. In the year of 1855 Mary graduated with a Doctorate degree in medicine. Her enthusiasm continued, along with the development of the rest of her life.
On May 18th, 1980, Mount Saint Helen, a volcano in Washington erupted majorly. The eruption is the most studied volcano eruption. Mt. St. Helen was known as one of the most prestige volcanoes in the Cascade Range before its eruption on May 18, 1980. The eruption made a big blast that destroyed the northern part of the volcano, crushing millions of the trees below the mountain. The zone was further described as a big debris avalanche.
Charlotte E. Ray In this paper I will be providing you lots of information on Ms. Ray. Charlotte E. Ray accomplished a lot of great things for African American and women in general. Becoming not only the first female African-American lawyer in the United States but also the first to practice in Washington, D.C. Because of her bravery and persistence obstacles were broken. Ray has paved the way for young women of color in today’s society.

St. Valentine’s Day Massacre (and More) Capone’s public popularity began to fade after he became associated with extreme violence. Perhaps the most infamous crimes he is suspected of being in charge of is the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre in 1929, where he hired men to gun down rival gang member, Bugs Moran. Of the seven men killed that day, however, Moran was not one of them, as it was rumored that he had sensed the ambush and escaped before anyone else realized what was happening (“Al Capone,” FBI.gov). The police immediately knew who had staged this gang-inspired massacre, however, Capone was in Florida at the time, yet again making it nearly impossible for the local law enforcement to acquire evidence that would prove his involvement

As she sailed across the Caribbean with a stolen ship with her latest boyfriend. Encountering her partner in crime, Mary Read, while plundering sloops in her time as a pirate. Although she is legendary, many things about her are thought to only be legends, and are still undetermined to this day.
The heresy of Anne Hutchinson of Massachusetts expounded in 1634. Anne Hutchinson was forty-five and a mother of fifteen children. later following the Puritan leader John Cotton to the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1634. She brought attention to Cotton’s theology through her way with words. This attracted people to meetings at her home, on Mondays to talk about Cotton’s Sunday sermon.
I moved to Point Pleasant when I was in fourth grade. I was scared, afraid and I didn’t know what to make of my new town and school. As the years went on Point Pleasant began to feel like home. Throughout the years of living here, out of all the PTO events there is one that will always stand out. In fifth grade the PTO sponsored a pool party open to the fifth grade of Nellie Bennett.
Mary was born with grace and free from Original Sin, and Saint Anne and Joachim helped raise Mary to love and be faithful of god and remain sinless. Then at the age of four, Saint Anne and Joachim took Mary to the Temple. Even though this was a promise to God, both parents were distressed to see Mary go. During this time, Saint Anne and her husband remained holy and charitable people.
