Hank Aaron was born on February 5th, 1934 in Mobile, Alabama. Hank was the third of eight children and was very poor growing up. When Hank was 8 years old his family moved to Toulminville, Alabama were he showed a strong passion for football and baseball. In Hank’s junior year in high school he transferred from Central high school to Josephine Allen institute. After only 1 year Hank had proven his abilities on the baseball field and in 1951 he quit school at the age of 18 to play for the Negro baseball leagues the Indianapolis Clowns.
Samuel Adams was born in Boston 1722. He was the son of Samuel Adams and Mary Fifield. He had 11 siblings but sadly, only two of them lived past age three. His father was a businessman and politician, because of this he was born into a wealthy family and got the best education he could get. As a kid, Samuel was interested in politics even though his parents wanted him to be a church minister.

He had received many death threats before that game saying things like “If you break Babe Ruth’s record me and my friends will go to your house and steal your child and keep it until you promise not to break that record”.

After Major Houston's death, Elizabeth decided to take her family to Tennessee where Sam and his siblings grew up (shalhp 96). As a curios child, Sam came across an English-speaking Cherokee while walking into the woods; he became friends with them and later lived with the Cherokees where he was named Co-lon-neh or the Raven in English (lsl 17-28).
