Samuel Adams was born in Boston 1722. He was the son of Samuel Adams and Mary Fifield. He had 11 siblings but sadly, only two of them lived past age three. His father was a businessman and politician, because of this he was born into a wealthy family and got the best education he could get. As a kid, Samuel was interested in politics even though his parents wanted him to be a church minister. He attended the Boston Latin school and then Harvard. He was 5th out of the 22 students in his class. His life took a turn when his father was involved in the Land Bank controversy.
