The school shooting that took place in Florida is not the only tragedy that American has seen in terms of mass shootings. There was the shooting in Las Vegas, Orlando night club, Sandy Hook elementary school, and Sutherland Springs church. These are just a few of the mass shootings that took place in the United States. However, I want to focus on the shooting that took place at the Sandy Hook elementary school.
Jeffrey Dahmer, a famous serial killer who killed over seventeen people, died in prison while waiting out fifteen consecutive life sentences. Dahmer, one of America’s most notorious serial killers, had a difficult childhood that spiraled out of control and began an unhealthy obsession with killing animals as a young child that led to him becoming a murderous necrophiliac. Dahmer, who was born on May 21, 1960 had a relatively normal life until he was four. “He was described as an energetic and happy child until the age of four, when surgery to correct a double hernia seemed to effect a change in the boy” (Biography.com Editors). After the surgery he had little emotion and was an unhappy child most of the time.

On December 14, 2012 a 20 year old 120 pound autistic kid with assburgers syndrome strolled into Sandy Hook elementary school strapped and loaded with over forty pounds of weaponry and murdered 26 people in less than eleven minutes and killed a ratio of 26:1 at a 96 murder percentage rate, only injuring one unknown person by a rickshaw bullet in the foot. Thus making this uncoordinated, barley able to tie his own shoe, autistic, scrawny Adam Lanza the deadliest mass shooter of all time. Some conspersists have a hard time believing all this, I happen to be one of those conscpetist. Looking at this picture posted by the social security death index (SSDI) shows that Adam Lanza died on December 13, 2012, but as I mentioned before the Sandy Hook massacre did not happen until the 14th. Also take a close look at what I believe to be the most important thing, at the bottom of the picture it shows its confirmation, and this was proven to be right.
Conspiracy theories are widely known in the society that we live in today. December 14 2012 was the dayr the whole town of newtown and the neighboring cities were shook with shock. Adam Lanza, a 16 year old connecticut resident broke the hearts of many and created problems for years to come. His father was a gun fanatic and owned many in his household, along with his mother, who also owned quite a few. But along with that, adam owned many books on mass shootings, which gave no reason why he may have acted in such a violent way, but revealed that even those who are not expected to kill can have the courage to do the worst they could do. Adam was believed to have killed his mother before murdering 26 others in Sandy Hook Elementary school, 6 adults and 20 children, ages 6-7 (Biography).
School Shootings: How We All Miss the Point... The aftermath of a school shooting is tragic, depressing, and causes hatred for the lives lost and the person who took them. Everyone, especially the media, tries to interpret why the shooter killed their victims, or why they felt the need to end others’ lives and their own. This horrible event opened up our eyes to the fact that someone could easily come into a school and raise havoc with ease. This man, Adam Lanza, had no affiliation with Sandy Hook or any one inside it but still decided to take the lives of 20 children and 6 adults before taking his own. In the statements made by Joe Scarborough from his show “Morning Joe”, he says “Every American must know from this day forward that nothing can be the same again.” This is a very powerful statement because it brings up an important point.
On 14 December 2012, Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut was under attack. The attacker, Adam Lanza shot twenty children between six and seven years old, and six staff members. Then he committed suicide by shooting himself in the head. His relatives said Adam was apparently bullied and beaten when he was enrolled at the Sandy Hook. Lanza had launched this massacre as “act of revenge.”
A major topic in the following months after. When the police found Adam he had two semiautomatic handguns and a rifle with a 30- round magazine. After only five minutes of shooting in the school, he had shot off 154 bullets (Owings). Owings is warning us how dangerous guns can be in the wrong hands, and how much damage they can do in a little amount of time. Senator Terry Gerratana helped pass a bill to better the Mental Health System in Connecticut and stop gun violence in situations like Sandy Hook.
On December 2nd, an incident happened in San Bernardino that shocked the nation. Although, we see a shooting on the news almost daily, the 2015 San Bernardino shooting that killed fourteen people and harmed twenty-two others still took America to a shock. The shooting consisted of two people, who happened to be married and had a six-month-old child, went into a mental hospital facility and opened fire on the patients and staff that worked or lived there. The male of the couple happened to work for the hospital but nobody knows the motive behind why the couple did what they did.
