Hundreds of schools in America are cutting Music programs because of budget cuts. Children aren’t getting to experience the benefits and happiness that music brings to your heart and soul. Music has been scientifically proven to improve education and a child’s mood by helping escape society and into the world of music that helps you express who you are in an appropriate manner. Joining this organization would help provide instruments and music programs for children in elementary and middle schools. The charity also hosts concerts and all the tickets that are sold go to the funds of Save the Music. Save the Music goes by this motto, “ We are a nonprofit organization committed to ensuring that music instruction is a core component to a complete education, giving children the tools and confidence to excel in academics and in life.” They are dedicated to creating close partnerships with school districts and making strategic decisions to formulate music programs and donate brand new instruments to schools. In order to be able to have funds to donate musical instruments, Save the Music puts on astounding concerts with popular artists like R.City. I am a big believer in music because i am an experienced guitar player and singer who thinks music can contribute to a person’s personality and their quality of life. This charity impacts me because knowing there's people out there who can help a child have a musical instrument that can reduce their stress and live a happier life. It is so important to bring back music programs because music is a way to have fun and be a bigger and brighter you, and that's what Save the Music brings! Save the Music is so impactful to me and from what i’ve heard, it's been impactful to many others
