Do you think schools should stop serving chocolate milk? Well, I think they should too! Here are a few reasons why schools should stop chocolate milk. First, it contains a lot of sugar. The second benefit is, it is unhealthy for people. Lastly drinking chocolate milk can cause childhood obesity.
The first benefit why schools should stop serving it is because it contains a lot of sugar. First, one 8oz. of reduced fat cholate milk has nearly as many calories and sugar as a 12-oz. can of Coke this is stated in the article "U.S. Schools' War Against Chocolate Milk" by Gilbert Cruz. This proves that they are not healthy for kids. Another reason is, if a child chooses chocolate milk every day for one year they will most likely gain 3Ibs. Lastly, "Chocolate milk is the most popular milk choice among children and it only has 60 more calories than white milk does." This all shows why schools shouldn't have chocolate milk because it contains too much sugar

First, people who regularly drink chocolate milk, say they are already worrying about childhood obesity. Colorado's Boulder Valley School District removed chocolate milk from their lunchrooms. They did this because the kids were drinking too much chocolate milk and causing childhood obesity. Lastly, you have too much sugar here and too much sugar there, and then it just adds up. This proves that chocolate milk has a lot of sugar in it so which can cause people to gain weight which leads to childhood obesity. All this proves why childhood obesity leads to schools not having chocolate
