If the eggs have progressed to where a shell forms, the yolk has polarized and begun developing into a baby turtle. These eggs are left in the nest, which the team monitors, patrols and tries to protect. The biologists also mark the nests from which the eggs have been removed so that other researchers from the sea turtle protection program know that the nest has already been
Graham Salisbury, author of Blue Skin of the Sea, left a lot of hints and did a little bit of foreshadowing to help develop the characters. For example, on page two, it shows that Sonny is scared and not confident which he did, in fact, grow to be a little on the scared side. “When I didn’t move he made chicken sounds yelling ‘buk-buk-bu-gock!’ and pretending to flap a pair of wings. Another example is about Uncle Harley fro page 21, “Dad would never bet a hundred dollars unless he knew he could win.”
Once breakfast was over, my uncle took out of his pocket a little notebook intended for scientific observation. He consulted his various instruments one after another, and recorded the following data: I glanced at him from across the kitchen with a curious look. As soon as he saw my expression he stood up from his seat and left the room. I never understood that man... He has never been normal, but ever since he took a job at the aquarium he has been extremely distant from the family.
She made no mention of the stick, pottery bowl, or the strips of leather. I would have liked to see more elaboration on those artifacts and what she felt they were used for.

Artifacts allow people today to look back and appreciate the history of other cultures, and to gain more knowledge and insight on how the people in those cultures lived. The Rosetta Stone is one of those artifacts. The Rosetta Stone is a priceless piece of ancient history that allows modern day people to learn more about the culture and language of the ancient Egyptians through its carved inscriptions. The Rosetta Stone was originally displayed in a temple, and was moved during the early medieval period, eventually being used as a building material in the town of Rosetta, near the northern coast of Egypt.
Same as usual, since the conditions seem to not differ as much. The biome is just, worse, the snails are dead. They seem to be giving off their body parts like corn flakes in a cereal bowl, mixed with milk. The shells are flipped, with one shell floating, but dispersing off its flaky body parts. The aquatic biome is still crashed, just like last time.
The dry season also brings out river turtles to the banks of the beaches to lay their eggs where they bury them in the sand. The turtle eggs are a vital source of protein for the tribes, and their specialty is finding and digging them up.
Greek Pottery is very diverse. It can provide some valuable and distinct vase shapes that can vary from each other and is some of the oldest and most diverse representations of the cultural beliefs and practices of the ancient Greeks. Patterns can represent symbolic and meaningful things about one’s culture. In this instance, it’s the Greeks. Some of the patterns that I have included in my Pottery is fishes, olives, an olive branch, masks, and a symbolic pattern.

In Ernest Hemingway’s novel The Old Man and the Sea, the author uses turtles as a symbol for Santiago and his tragedy. At the beginning of the novel, Santiago talks about turtles as beautiful creatures which highlights his emotional health and positive connection to nature at the start of his journey. As Santiago rows his boat far out of the harbor he spots a green turtle, “He loved green turtles and their hawk-bills with their elegance and speed” (Hemingway 36). Santiago’s description of the turtles’ elegance and speed is symbolic of his optimism and strength. Santiago is strong and ready to keep fishing until he catches something even though he 's gone 84 days without catching anything.
Our class assignment was to make our parachute fly as long as possible. We were trying to make a parachute with popsicle sticks and paper. We used the paper to make the balloon and used the popsicle sticks to make a little seat for the passengers. The seat gives the parachute an good balance. This experience was so unique for me, because I learned how to make something incredible with simple objects.
During the Romantic Period writing was as sensational as drive-in movies in the 1970s. Everyone loved them and it was the way to escape real life. People in the Romantic Era felt the exact same way about poems and writers. Two of the most famous poets around that time were Samuel Taylor Coleridge and William Blake who wrote his poems, “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner” (1798) and “The Tyger” respectively. Both poems show different references to God in the divine in nature to pop culture.
