Among the many entertainment centers people often do as a family is visit SeaWorld. SeaWorld offers many entertaining shows, such as One Ocean, which takes place in the Shamu Stadium. In addition these shows can be attended regardless of your age. SeaWorld offers many of their captivating shows, where you are able to experience the amazing tricks and skills an animal is capable of doing, leaving you with your mouth open. These beautiful animals especially the Orcas seem to be happier than ever, as well as their trainers. When amusement parks seem to be growing into succession, their prices increase a good example is Disneyland in which their one day visit can cost you about $100. This documentary has been featured in wide organizations such as CNN films. The documentary’s main focus is on Sea World’s orca named Tilikim, and how being in captivity affects the natural habitats they are used to being in. In the year of 1983 was when Tilikum was captured. Since this date Tilikum has been responsible for three deaths. The most recent one in occurrence was the death of one of the most talented trainers by the name of Dawn Brancheau, 40 in 2010. SeaWorld’s official stance on Dawn’s death was that the trainer was attacked by the orca because her hair was in a ponytail. Tilikum had an easy grasp of her ponytail, and held her in the water until she drowned. However the documentary doesn’t focus on this scene, they try to prove a point in which the orca grabbed her arm instead of her hair making it persuasive against the trainer’s fault.
