The Protestant Reformation of 1517 to 1648 caused the widespread tension of religious tolerance, in which some religions took a particular direction regarding their practices and arguments. While some leaders, intellectuals and radical reformers supported the idea of religious toleration due to their beliefs in its contribution to unity, which would prevent turmoil and unrest, rulers and nobles of great power and rank opposed religious toleration due to their fears of heretics and the treacherous effect they would have on the uniformity of their states. In document 5, King Henry of Francce addresses religious toleration in his Edict of Nantes, which was signed on April 30 of 1598. It granted Huguenots or French Calvinists, religious freedom.

After reading several articles and verses I can see where you can cross the worldview and secular view of wellness. At face value the words that make up the definition seem to mean the same thing. The real difference is how wellness is achieved. Secular wellness is achieved through actions that are dependent on you. How you take care of yourself for example, exercise, diet and lifestyle.

For example, in Quebec, objections to the kirpan’s allowance in schools in an example of secularism not aligning with the rules of public institutions. The kirpan, which is a religious symbol of Sikhs, was banned from public schools in Quebec, as it was seen as a potential weapon.

Regardless of the form of religion, such as polytheism or monotheism, people in ancient societies believed in a God or Gods. This belief in a higher power was an important part of human progression and expansion.
