The biblical worldview and secular worldviews are two different beliefs that offer very stark contrasts. The biblical worldview places everything to ever exist in the hands of one man, God. In this worldview, God is the most powerful being and is the reason for Earth’s existence and our existence. Everything we do is because of how and for him, so that we may meet him when our glory days here on Earth end. On the other hand, the secular worldview is quite different. In this worldview, we are guided and led by the Bible. We base our actions off the things that we are told in the Bible, so that we can live the life that God intended on us to live. We focus and break down the scriptures, so that we can get an understanding of what it is we are being asked to do by our Lord. The Bible guides us along in life and helps us when we are confused or struggling. When the importance of God’s feelings, authority, and happiness are placed above your own, that is the biblical worldview. We look and we turn to God, in times of need, and in times of prosperity. We owe everything to him. The food on our table. The clothes on our backs. The roof over our heads. We live on this Earth as God’s creation and we worship him. On the other hand, the secular worldview claims that the authority of one’s self is more important than the authority of any god or any religion. There is a place where spirits will continue to evolve and develop. It is a place that follows God’s word and is a place of worship, love, and peace. This realm is called Heaven and it is a place that many dedicate their lives on Earth trying to get to. Oppositely, The secular worldview says that there is nothing after the physical world. It is believed to be no Heaven, no afterlife, no resurrection. Once the soul leaves the Earth, it will cease to ever exist. A similarity between two worldviews is that they are both for the greater good. Both worldviews have positive end goals and have genuine intentions on bettering the lives of others. No matter how opposite they are, their purposes serve to give people the best life that they can possibly have, so that they are always set up for success.
