Expounding on Scott’s gender analysis are Theda Perdue and Jennifer Morgan who focus specifically on the bodies of Indian and black women. For both Cherokee and black women, they are often overshadowed by men, their stories eclipsed due to the assumption that under the institution of slavery, women’s experiences were not much different than men. Perdue and Morgan challenge this notion, demonstrating that the lives and experiences of black and Cherokee women were different than black and Cherokee men. In placing black women and Cherokee women at the center of the narrative, Perdue and Morgan seek to enhance understanding the functions Cherokee and black women played in colonial America and how they responded to the gendered roles they were expected

At the end of the play the prince says “Pardon means to be forgiven for an act or mistake that you have done or the act of forgiving someone for something they have done. Punished is when you inflict a penalty or sanction against someone who has wronged. In the “What Gender Got To Do With it” section of They say, I say, both authors Anne-Marie Slaughter and Richard Dorment argue why their gender can 't have it all. But first, what do they meaning by having it all? By my interpretation from their articles, having it all means being successful in your career and still maintaining an active role of parenting. Both authors argue about how their gender is keeping them from achieving that work-life balance goal. However, I believe we can have it all, regardless of our gender.
Wilson Disease is a genetic condition that causes a person’s body to store too much of the mineral copper. The short and most common name of this genetic condition is called “Wilson Diesease”, but other names such as “Copper Storage Disease” or “Hepatolenticular Degeneration Syndrome” occur when being very precise. Many people do not contract this disease as it only occurs in every one out of every thirty thousand people. This disease is not directly correlated with death, however if too much copper is built up in your organs the effects of it may cause death. To begin with, Wilson Disease may affect several different parts of the body, as well as different organs throughout.
Male vulnerability is in reference to the way nature seems to be stacked against males. Boys are more likely to be miscarried during their mother's labor. This may result in the males having such problems as stuttering, SIDS, bedwetting, and mental retardation. During development, boys have a greater chance in experiencing learning difficulties while reading and speaking. They also are more prone to have health problems.

A new government survey of parents suggests that 1 in 45 children, ages17 and under, have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD.) That means that out of the 3,000 kids 17 and younger that live in Butler County, almost 66 of them have some type of ASD. Autism is currently and is becoming prominent in our country and even our community. It is not unlikely that someone in this room will have a child with ASD one day. My mother has taught special education for almost 15 years and she has had many students in her class with ASD.

Not only is wrongful diagnosis, over diagnosis, and clinician perception a negative of diagnosis, but there is much gender bias in diagnosing clients. The article “Gender and Diagnosis: Struggles and Suggestions for Counselors” by Erikson and Kress (2008), explains the issues with diagnosis between genders. According to Erikson and Kress (2008), feminists believe that certain diagnoses have forced women to conform to the norms of female domesticity. Feminist theorists believe that women’s anger, depression, and discontent has been reframed as psychiatric symptoms. As a result, the stressful and difficult circumstances of women's lives have been overlooked and deemed diagnosable (Erikson & Kress, 2008).
